Leadership

Pastor Steve has been serving Bethany Church since August 2023. He and Kay have 3 children and an extensive family in the area. He graduated from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville and earned a Master of Divinity with a specialization in Christian Leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary. His primary passion is helping people know and develop an authentic and deep relationship with Christ and he also loves history of all kinds. He is a veteran of the US Air Force, having served honorably as a law enforcement specialist both overseas and in the US.

Lauren came to Bethany Church in 2023. She has 3 years’ experience as a Church Office Administrator after having been in the medical field for 5 years and then in the Finance Industry. She and her husband Patrick have two amazing children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, journaling, cooking and the outdoors. She is passionate about God and finance and loves having the best of both of those worlds here, using one of her spiritual gifts (administration) to serve God, while also assisting with the finances of the church.
